day 2 post op

So very grateful to now have day 2 behind me. Last night was rough as I began to react to the antibiotic. This time I was prepared as I now have benedryl on hand because of past experience with reactions to different foods and meds. Also grateful for the golfer who continues to ask if there is anything I need anything he can do and today he did just that ...  He went and made a copy for me, dropped off some stuff at Bibles For Missions Thrift Store, and he hung both the cup holder and candle holder on the kitchen wall.

Today was the day I could take the bandages off and take a shower so .... You can only imagine how good that felt. I got some extra reading and writing done and spent some time 
thinking about and praying for girlfriends. 

The golfer decided to go to 5 guys for dinner, and I, wanting to get out of the house for a bit, rode along. Then I packed his bag for travel to his home town of Bagley where he will go this weekend for his high school reunion. Before going to bed he took some time to read through the information for the remote for my device and spent some time showing me how it works. 



Grateful for all the ways the golfer has given generously to me and taken care of me the last few days!
